Muddy Creek Ranch is a fully integrated Lowline Angus cattle operation located in Wilsall, Montana. Our breeding program is second to none using only proven grass genetics to produce superior offspring.
The heifers are used for replacements and the bulls are used on commercial cows to prove their carcass traits through their offspring. The 1/2 blood calves are fed out on strong Montana pasture until they are finished at about 17 months of age. They are then harvested, graded and sold through local markets including our own restaurant where the ultimate test is taste and tenderness.
We have traveled far and wide to find the best genetics for an all natural grass fed environment. Our Angus based herd has been selected from proven grass fed genetics from Montana and all across the U.S. To top that off, we added American Lowlines for their unique ability to produce high quality carcasses.
Our mission is to produce quality seedstock, productive commercial cows and predictable carcasses for a growing demand for grass fed beef.
